Determination of water source parameters
Static water level depth (well depth): determines the minimum submergence depth of the pump body (must be 1-2m below the dynamic water level)
Water quality analysis: For sand content>50g/m ³, choose wear-resistant impellers (such as tungsten carbide coating), and for pH<5 or>9, choose 316L stainless steel pump body
Calculation of working condition requirements
Flow rate Q=maximum hourly water consumption x 1.2 (safety factor), for example: for a family of 4, Q=0.5m ³/h x 1.2=0.6m ³/h
Head H=depth of dynamic water level+vertical height of water conveyance+loss along the pipeline (increase head by 5m for every 100 meters of pipeline)
Compatibility matching of well casing
Pump body outer diameter=well diameter -20mm (e.g. 200mm well diameter is suitable for 180mm outer diameter pump body), and confirm that the pump body length is less than 5m deep in the well
Power system selection
Non grid area: solar pump (configured power=head x flow rate/(0.8 x photovoltaic efficiency))
Industrial scenario: Priority should be given to 380V three-phase motors with a power ≥ 1.1 times the calculated value (to prevent overload)
